This year, Indiana passed a new state law requiring ALL Indiana seniors - no matter if they will attend college or not in the fall - to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The goal is to ensure students understand their funding options for college. Completing the application also gives students access to state-based aid, school scholarships, and work-study opportunities.
In addition, students and parents are required to create their own FSA (Federal Student Aid) ID prior to completing the FAFSA.
