Thank you for your interest in enrolling with the EVSC! Enrollment for full-day kindergarten in the EVSC is now open! Please complete our pre-registration form linked below to begin the enrollment process. Once completed, your school will follow up with additional steps you will need in order to complete your enrollment. If you have any questions or issues enrolling, please call your student's school or our Center for Family, Schools, and Community Partnerships at 812-435-8866.

Some important things to note prior to enrolling for kindergarten:
  • Children must be five years old on or before August 1.
  • A copy of the child's legal birth certificate is required 


We also suggest incoming families go ahead and download the EVSC Mobile App to have everything you need right at your fingertips! The EVSC app is available in the Apple Store or Google Play store. Simply search "EVSC" to download. In addition, click here for some things you will need to know to be ready this fall!

EVSC Enrollment Process 
Getting started with EVSC enrollment is easy and your student's school is here to guide you every step of the way! Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth enrollment process for your family:

1. Fill out the Pre-Registration Form: Click on the blue button above to complete our short Pre-Registration form. This helps us get the basic information needed to enroll your student. Make sure to use a current email address.

    - Choose Your School: The form will ask you to pick a school for your student. If you're not sure about your home school,  no worries! Click here to find your home school.

2. Watch Your Email for More Information: Once your pre-registration is approved, your student's school will reach out to you with additional information. Also, be sure to check the email you provided for important information about next steps for enrollment and information to access parent portal.

- Bus Application: If you would like to receive bus transportation, you will need to apply. Once your student is enrolled, you can complete an application by clicking here or on the yellow button above.

Extended Day application link

- Extended Day Application: The EVSC is proud to offer before and after school care for students in our elementary schools. Openings are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and to complete an application, click on the button above. If you are enrolling for next school year, click here to complete the 2024-2025 Extended Day Application.
