Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation currently receives 6 unique federal or state funding sources which support the implementation of Community Learning Centers or Full Service Community Schools at each of the following schools:

  • Highland Elementary
  • Lincoln Community School (K-8)
  • Lodge Community School (K-8)
  • McGary Middle School
  • North High School
  • Plaza Park International Prep Academy
  • Stockwell Elementary
  • Stringtown Elementary
  • Tekoppel Elementary
  • Vogel Elementary
  • Washington Middle School
These awards allow us to implement programs across the above listed schools, serving children from birth to high school, their families, and community members. 

EVSC's Center for Family, School and Community Partnerships (CFSCP) will oversee a continuum of support, services, and opportunities for children from birth through entry into and success in postsecondary education and career attainment through the provision of services, coordinated under a comprehensive framework. As part of this comprehensive framework, the CFSCP will host a monthly Afterschool Coalition which is an open meeting for any stakeholders who are interested in learning or contributing to events at the schools listed.

Additionally each of these schools host monthly family engagement events with the goal of strengthening bonds between families and children with schools and the community by establishing an infrastructure of support for schools and agencies to support children and families. Details of these events can be obtained by participating in each school's monthly Site Council. Site Councils work to identify school and community needs and match them with needed resources based on evaluation findings through a successful history of collaboration.
